We believe in meeting people where they are—whether they’re navigating daily stress or managing complex psychiatric conditions like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or major depression. Our psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners (PMHNPs) bring a unique perspective to treatment. They combine medical expertise with a nursing approach that focuses on the whole person—mind, body, and lifestyle.
A Personalized Approach to Care
Mental health is never one-size-fits-all. That’s why our PMHNPs take time to understand each person’s symptoms, experiences, and goals. From the first visit, treatment is collaborative. We listen, ask thoughtful questions, and work with you to create a care plan that feels both manageable and meaningful.
Treatment options may include:
- Psychiatric Evaluation and Diagnosis: We start by understanding your symptoms, history, and life context to build a clear picture of what’s going on.
- Medication Management: For conditions like major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia, medications can play a key role in reducing symptoms and improving quality of life. Our PMHNPs are experienced in selecting and adjusting medications to find the right fit for you.
- Supportive Therapy: While we don’t replace long-term psychotherapy, we do offer brief, solution-focused support during sessions to help you develop insight, manage stress, and build resilience.
- Care Coordination: Mental health care works best when it’s connected. We’re happy to collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, and family members (with your permission) to make sure you’re getting the support you need on all fronts.

For individuals living with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or major depression, treatment can feel overwhelming. Our goal is to help make it less so. With the right support, stability is possible. PMHNPs are trained to manage complex psychiatric medications, monitor progress over time, and adjust treatment as your needs evolve.

- Bipolar Disorder: We help stabilize mood swings with careful medication selection and close monitoring, aiming for long-term balance and fewer disruptions.
- Major Depression: Whether you’re facing your first episode or living with chronic depression, we tailor treatment to help lift the fog and get you back to yourself—with compassion and consistency.
